Caledonian Airborne Systems is an Independent Scottish Family business, has completed 30 years of successful Operation and Business. Caledonian Airborne Systems designs, manufactures and supports its Advanced Airborne Systems across a wide range of aerospace applications.

Historically this commenced with airborne AF-ADELT beacons, the latest variant of which has integrated GPS.

A significant thrust of Caledonian's business is in Design, Manufacture, Aircraft conversions and Upgrade, also Integration of Advanced Airborne Maritime Surveillance Systems having successfully completed programs for government agencies in Europe, the far East and the Americas, encompassing aircraft types such as Jet Stream 41, Beachcraft B-200, Seaking SH3D, Black Hawk, Fokker F-27 and F-50, Reims F-406, to name but a few.

As well as integrations and aircraft modification design, Caledonian designs a wide range of highly optimized, high performance Airborne Maritime Surveillance Products, notably these products are designed from first principles, specifically for aerospace applications. Caledonian designs all its embedded technologies, whether data distribution, data processing, video conversion or video processing embedded designs and architectures. Caledonian Equipment is installed on Jetstream 41, Jetstream 31, Beachcraft B-200, Sikorsky Seaking SH3D, Black Hawk, Sikorsky S-76, Sikorsky S-61, Fokker F-27, Fokker F-50, Reims F-406, B-214ST, AB-412, Eurocopter Dauphin 365N, Eurocopter Super Puma Mk1, 2 and 3, Fennec, Bolkow 105, ATR-42, ATR-72 ,Concorde, Gulfstream 1, Alouette, Mi-8, Northrop F-5 and BAE-146.

To support these activities Caledonian has a wide range of approvals from Authorities such as EASA, FAA, RLD & ANAC. EASA and CAA Approvals covering equipment design, manufacture and support, aircraft modification design and integration.

Given Caledonian's control of its own technologies and product lines, Caledonian can offer unrivalled technical solutions in the field of airborne maritime Surveillance.

Caledonian operated a Reims F-406 with arguably the most advanced Radar Mission system i.e. Seaspray-Scorpio.
